Where is Loh Liang Located?

Loh Liang is located on Komodo Island, part of West Manggarai Regency in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. The island is approximately 3–4 hours by boat from Labuan Bajo.

Please note that Komodo Island cannot be accessed by land sea transportation is the only way to reach this destination.

Since Loh Liang is located on an island, here are the best ways to visit:

1. Liveaboard Trip From Labuan Bajo

2. Day Trip Speed Boat from Labuan Bajo

For travelers with limited time, a day trip by speedboat is a great option.
This allows you to visit Loh Liang and other nearby destinations within a single day with 6 or 8 destinasion in komodo national park.

3. Komodo Tour from Lombok

A multi-day sailing adventure (typically 4D3N) starting from Lombok to Komodo Island.

This is a one-way trip that begins in Lombok and ends in Labuan Bajo. Loh Liang is one of the main destinations included in this journey ideal for travelers already staying in Lombok.

Entrance Fee to Loh Liang

  • Domestic tourists: approximately IDR 50,000 – 75,000 per day

  • International tourists: approximately IDR 250,000 – 400,000 per day

Please note that these prices do not include:

  • Ranger fees

  • Trekking permits

  • Snorkeling fees

However, if you live on board from Labuan Bajo or Lombok, the operator usually tells you the total price excluding the boat trip price.
